22-year-old RnB singer Marlin has been passionate about music since childhood. Her multi-faceted family background steered her interest towards music and performance at an early age. Through her father, she found her way to RnB, hip-hop, reggae and rap of the 90s and 00s. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that acts like Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley and Usher can be named among her idols.

At the age of 18 years, Marlin started releasing her first songs. Together with her producer Gabiga (Naomi Lareine, Danitsa, Benjamin Amaru), the young Argovian – with roots in Guinea and Hungary – writes songs that celebrate cultural diversity, invite you to dance and evoke great feelings. Renowned radio stations such as SRF Virus, Couleur 3 and RTS La 1ère have already taken note of this and rewarded Marlin with airplay. In April of this year, she was also a guest on the SRF Virus Female Music Special and earned much praise at the SRF Bounce Release Rating. So it’s no surprise that she was allowed to perform as the opening act for Dillon Cooper.
